Cabinet Maker I

Responsibilities

• Install and fabricate cabinet components and hardware
• Set up and operate various machines and hand tools to fabricate cabinets
• Mark outlines or dimensions of parts according to blueprint or drawing specifications
• Set work priorities to meet scheduled production goals

Requirements

• 1+ years of cabinet making or similar experience
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, layouts, and written/verbal instructions
• Proficiency with pneumatic and power tools, including drills, screw guns, table saws, band saws, and routers
• Ability to use linear and other measuring devices
• Ability to laminate cabinets and panels
• Basic mathematics skills and close attention to detail
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in noisy or dusty environments
