Cabinet Maker

Responsibilities

• Select appropriate materials, fittings, and tools for each task
• Cut resources to size and create standard or custom cabinet components
• Plan work approaches to ensure timely project completion
• Assemble final products and apply sealant, varnish, or paint as required
• Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow safety protocols

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cabinet making
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Knowledge of woodworking tools, carpentry machinery, and furniture tools
• Experience in preparing solid wood and custom doors/installation
• Ability to handle physical workload and lift up to 50 lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-end custom cabinetry
• Vocational or technical training
• Bilingual skills (Spanish)
