Cabin Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide continuing airworthiness support for cabin-related avionics systems across various aircraft fleets
• Manage aircraft maintenance programs and coordinate reliability initiatives
• Assess modifications to ensure fleet safety and optimize asset costs
• Provide specialist engineering advice and support to the Qantas Group
• Manage small to medium design projects to meet stakeholder requirements

Requirements

• Professional Engineering degree in Avionics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent
• Extensive experience in design and development of aircraft cabin interiors for Boeing or Airbus aircraft
• Experience with a wide range of cabin products and vendors
• Thorough working knowledge of CASR Part 21 & Part 42 regulations
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple conflicting deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of EASA and FAA regulations
