About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide continuing airworthiness support for cabin-related avionics systems across various aircraft fleets
- Manage aircraft maintenance programs and coordinate reliability initiatives
- Assess modifications to ensure fleet safety and optimize asset costs
- Provide specialist engineering advice and support to the Qantas Group
- Manage small to medium design projects to meet stakeholder requirements
Requirements
- Professional Engineering degree in Avionics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent
- Extensive experience in design and development of aircraft cabin interiors for Boeing or Airbus aircraft
- Experience with a wide range of cabin products and vendors
- Thorough working knowledge of CASR Part 21 & Part 42 regulations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple conflicting deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of EASA and FAA regulations
