C1 MC Driver

Responsibilities

• Safe and lawful transport of materials in accordance with explosives and dangerous goods legislation
• Strict Chain of Responsibility compliance including fatigue management and load security
• Security of consignments through access control and vehicle monitoring
• Compliance with mine site procedures and exclusion zones
• Accurate documentation and communication for regulatory and audit requirements

Requirements

• Unrestricted Heavy Vehicle driver’s licence (HR, HC, or MC)
• Demonstrated experience operating heavy vehicles
• Understanding of explosives transport requirements and load security
• Ability to work under Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations
• Ability to maintain high levels of security awareness

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Dangerous Goods / Explosives Driver accreditation
• 3 years road train experience
• Current and valid Class 1 Explosive Driver qualification
• Previous experience working on remote or regional mine sites
• Experience transporting explosives to magazines or blast sites
