C-UAS Flight Test Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate flight test campaigns across multiple programs, aligning schedules with engineering readiness, range availability, and safety sign-off.
• Own the logistics chain for test execution, including range bookings, airspace clearances (NOTAMs), and regulatory approvals across European test sites.
• Act as the central coordination point between flight test engineers, systems teams, ground crew, and safety officers.
• Track and escalate schedule risks and blockers to program leadership to facilitate decisive action.
• Coordinate equipment, personnel, and ground support transport to and from test sites across Europe.
• Run pre-test readiness checks and post-test debriefs to capture action items and lessons learned.
• Maintain working relationships with external test ranges, civil aviation authorities, and host-nation contacts.
• Build and maintain checklists, templates, and processes to scale flight test coordination.

Requirements

• Experience coordinating technical field operations, test campaigns, or logistics-heavy activities (aviation, aerospace, defense, or motorsport backgrounds are welcome).
• Working knowledge of European airspace regulations, NOTAM processes, and UAS/aircraft test permitting.
• Ability to operate as a central hub between multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders under pressure.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage last-minute schedule changes.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Europe, including extended stays at test sites.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance required for the defense sector.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with UAS or manned aircraft flight campaigns.
• Existing relationships with German test ranges or civil aviation authorities (e.g., LBA).
• Background in safety/range operations or test QA.
• Proficiency in German or other European languages.
