C++ Senior Engineer - Low Latency Platforms

Responsibilities

• Develop a high-volume, low-latency analytic decisioning platform using C++
• Collaborate with product managers and architects to drive software platform design
• Work within software engineering groups to maintain high standards for efficiency, reliability, and serviceability
• Research and prototype new technologies to ensure the platform remains a market leader
• Coach other software engineers on domain designs and engineering best practices
• Partner with QA engineers to design and implement non-functional tests

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 10+ years of experience building sophisticated runtimes in C++
• 10+ years of experience designing and operating commercial software integrating AI/ML algorithms in low milliseconds
• Strong knowledge of domain-driven, event-driven, and microservice architectures
• Experience with public cloud technologies (AWS, Google, or Azure)
• Experience supporting production software deployments and working within agile processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Familiarity with CMake
• Hands-on experience using artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies
