C++ and Computational Geometry Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop production-quality C++ applications and cloud-hosted services
• Author and maintain computational geometry-based 3D algorithms for customized dental appliances
• Collaborate with Bio-Mechanical Engineers to define problems and explore technical solutions
• Contribute to software components by refining requirements, mitigating risks, and monitoring production
• Follow architectural, quality, and regulatory guidelines for medical device software development
• Participate in a Scrum environment using tools like MS Visual Studio, Git, JIRA, and Bamboo

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, CAD/CAM, or an equivalent field
• 5+ years of professional experience in 3D computational geometry
• Proficiency in modern C++ (versions 11-17)
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, STL, and data structures
• Experience with version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in additive manufacturing related areas
• Publications in the field of computational geometry
• Familiarity with geometry toolkits such as CGAL or Polygonica
• Experience using optimization techniques in software development
