C-130 Flight Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in aerial firefighting missions, Functional Check Flights (FCF), Maintenance Check Flights (MCF), and Acceptance Check Flights (ACF)
• Attend the annual C-130 Air Tanker Flight Engineer training program
• Participate in aircraft ferry missions, both intrastate and interstate, as directed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2,000 hours of C-130 Flight Engineer experience
• At least 2 years of C-130 Flight Engineer experience
• FAA Flight Engineer Certification or military equivalent
• Valid and current FAA 2nd Class Medical Certificate (with ECG endorsement if over 40 years of age)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous aerial firefighting experience
