About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in aerial firefighting missions, Functional Check Flights (FCF), Maintenance Check Flights (MCF), and Acceptance Check Flights (ACF)
- Attend the annual C-130 Air Tanker Flight Engineer training program
- Participate in aircraft ferry missions, both intrastate and interstate, as directed
Requirements
- Minimum of 2,000 hours of C-130 Flight Engineer experience
- At least 2 years of C-130 Flight Engineer experience
- FAA Flight Engineer Certification or military equivalent
- Valid and current FAA 2nd Class Medical Certificate (with ECG endorsement if over 40 years of age)

- Previous aerial firefighting experience
