About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform organizational and intermediate level maintenance on Army C-12 / King Air 200/350/1900 aircraft
  • Service, troubleshoot, repair, and modify avionics, electrical systems, engines, flight controls, and airframe components
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as welding equipment, rivet guns, and drills to perform repairs
  • Comply with aircraft records procedures outlined in DA PAM 738-751
  • Read and interpret manufacturer maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical specifications
  • Perform engine runs, taxi operations, and aircraft recovery missions as necessary
  • Utilize computerized maintenance software to manage aircraft tasks

Requirements

  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • US Citizenship (required for Secret Security Clearance and base access)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to pass the AR-95-20 pre-employment medical examination (including BMI requirements)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical positions (standing, squatting, sitting)
  • Willingness to work assigned shifts per the Union CBA, including potential rotating weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specific hands-on maintenance experience with C-12/King Air (B200/350/1900/PT6) aircraft
  • Experience meeting the requirements for AM-1, AM-2, or AM-3 levels based on years of specific aircraft experience
