Buying Intern

Responsibilities

• Support the Buying team with daily administrative tasks, including maintaining assortment tools, purchase order tracking, and reporting
• Assist in analyzing weekly sales performance, inventory levels, and sell-through to identify business opportunities
• Prepare product recaps, assortment presentations, and market meeting materials for internal reviews
• Help manage sample organization, product cataloging, and showroom preparation during market appointments and seasonal buys
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Planning, Allocation, and Retail, to support seasonal assortment execution
• Conduct competitive market research and trend analysis on product assortment, pricing, and the luxury retail landscape

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program; Fashion Buying & Merchandising, Business, or related field preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with retail math is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications and Google Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for luxury fashion and a keen eye for product and trends
• Prior internship experience in fashion merchandising is preferred
