Northwood is a modern space infrastructure company bringing the benefits of space to the masses through advanced communications technology. We are building a global network of phased array ground stations that enable real-time, reliable communication for satellite missions such as national security, global connectivity, and disaster response.

Responsibilities

• Own purchasing and planning activities for assigned commodities and product lines
• Manage purchase orders and ensure alignment with production schedules
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and delivery schedules
• Proactively mitigate risks and shortages
• Support material planning for production and NPI builds
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations
• Maintain and update ERP system data including item masters and BOMs
• Support continuous improvement of procurement and planning processes

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, material planning, or supply chain in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups
• Ability to work cross-functionally
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual per ITAR regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment
• Background in aerospace, satellite, telecommunications, or defense industries
• Familiarity with PCBAs, electromechanical assemblies, or complex hardware systems
• Experience with SQL or MRP planning concepts
