Buyer/Planner I

Responsibilities

• Monitor, fulfill, and update status on electronic Purchase Requisitions for MRO and prototype/pre-production materials
• Support production control and materials movement through Receiving, Inspection, MRB, and Outplant processes
• Manage suppliers and Purchase Orders to ensure timely delivery per terms
• Coordinate internally and externally to manage design and schedule changes
• Perform kitting of consigned parts
• Monitor stock levels, usage, sales orders, and forecasts for assigned parts
• Perform MRP BOM and part attribute maintenance

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing or planning role
• AA degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience purchasing commodities such as electronic components, machined metal parts, PWBs, PCBAs, and custom cable assemblies
• Strong understanding of BOM structures and MTS (Made To Spec) drawings
• Experience using Oracle NetSuite or an equivalent ERP system
• Experience working within regulated industries (e.g., ISO, AS9100)
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
