Buyer/Planner

Responsibilities

• Purchase raw food ingredients, packaging, and plant supplies to support facility requirements
• Manage vendor relationships including research, negotiation, and discrepancy resolution
• Evaluate vendors based on on-time deliveries and product quality
• Analyze demand and proactively manage inventory levels for cost-effective delivery
• Own day-to-day purchasing and planning for raw materials and plant supplies
• Schedule pickups, place purchase orders, and monitor deliveries
• Collaborate with corporate departments on short-term and long-term product demand planning

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA in business administration or supply chain management
• 1-2 years of experience purchasing raw ingredients (meat and poultry)
• 1-3 years of experience in planning, inventory management, or scheduling in a manufacturing setting
