Buyer - Swim

Responsibilities

• Drive assortment strategy by developing and executing buying strategies for trend-driven product assortments in the women's swim category.
• Conduct trend forecasting through market research, runway analysis, and social media monitoring to ensure a competitive product mix.
• Lead cost negotiations with suppliers to optimize margins and secure best-in-class cost structures without compromising quality.
• Manage financial performance, including weekly sales, open-to-buy budgets, pricing, and inventory levels to meet profit targets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, replenishment, planning, and creative teams to ensure timely deliveries and successful product launches.
• Utilize sales data and market insights to make data-driven decisions for continuous assortment optimization.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in Fashion Buying, specifically with a proven track record in the swim category for a high-growth eCommerce brand.
• Strong understanding of current and emerging fashion trends and a deep passion for the industry.
• Proven experience negotiating product quality, costs, and delivery dates with vendors.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Production, Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Excellent analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
