Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to drive cost savings and total cost of ownership improvements
• Lead negotiations on supplier agreements, including pricing, terms, SLAs, and risk provisions
• Run end-to-end sourcing events such as RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and program management to shape Statements of Work
• Proactively identify and address supply chain risks and support the production line
• Maintain accurate records ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS/ITAR and AS9100

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or buying experience in a highly technical environment
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS/ITAR and AS9100
• Experience managing RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing
• Experience sourcing machined parts, castings, forgings, composites, or electronics
• Experience negotiating Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) and complex supplier contracts
• Strong analytical skills in cost analysis and market research
• Understanding of the DoD and aerospace landscape
• CPSM, CPSD, or Lean Six Sigma certification
