Buyer, Procurement

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities and processes through approved vendors to ensure continuous supply of materials.
• Process purchase orders, including initiation, follow-up, receiving, closure, and filing.
• Utilize SAP, Excel, and other analytical tools to track inventory levels and ensure material availability.
• Manage vendor and supplier relations, including pricing, cost negotiations, and service agreements.
• Drive effective cost savings to meet targets set by the Global Procurement team.
• Manage the vendor assessment program and lead investigations for non-conforming raw materials.
• Complete all GMP documentation correctly and participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Support material procurement for new product launches and resolve shortages or discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 4-6 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP environments and quality systems.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and manage a diversified workload.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using TrackWise or EDMS.
• Proven ability to manage complex vendor contracts and service agreements.
