Buyer

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement execution for assigned goods, commodities, and services in accordance with quality, delivery, and pricing standards.
• Execute tactical buying decisions, including order placement, rescheduling, cancellations, and resolving non-conforming material or invoice queries.
• Minimize inventory levels while ensuring adequate material availability to meet production plans.
• Initiate corrective actions and escalations to prevent impacts on the production schedule.
• Manage procurement automation processes, ensuring data integrity and deciding when to leverage automation versus manual exceptions.
• Adhere to Approved Vendor List (AVL) guidelines and customer contract requirements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of related procurement or buying experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace or MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred (equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered).
