About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage material availability through master data setup, vendor capacity planning, and purchase order management.
  • Perform inventory analysis and maintain SCM master data within SAP systems.
  • Execute product lifecycle forecasting and communicate orders and forecasts with suppliers.
  • Place and monitor supplier orders to ensure alignment on delivery time, quality, and price.
  • Identify and mitigate material shortage risks, escalating issues when necessary to ensure continuity.
  • Work to eliminate root causes of availability issues to improve supply chain reliability.

Requirements

  • Vocational education and specialized training in purchasing or inventory management, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience, or 3 years if holding a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Technical education required for maintenance spare parts and services procurement.
  • Minimal technical knowledge for maintenance parts purchases.
