About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage material availability through master data setup, vendor capacity planning, and purchase order management.
- Perform inventory analysis and maintain SCM master data within SAP systems.
- Execute product lifecycle forecasting and communicate orders and forecasts with suppliers.
- Place and monitor supplier orders to ensure alignment on delivery time, quality, and price.
- Identify and mitigate material shortage risks, escalating issues when necessary to ensure continuity.
- Work to eliminate root causes of availability issues to improve supply chain reliability.
Requirements
- Vocational education and specialized training in purchasing or inventory management, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience, or 3 years if holding a Bachelor’s degree.
- Technical education required for maintenance spare parts and services procurement.
- Minimal technical knowledge for maintenance parts purchases.
