Responsibilities

• Develop customer and market-focused own brand product collections aligned with company strategy
• Review competition to ensure product proposition is competitive in fashion trend, price, quality, and availability
• Visit shoe fairs and fashion shows to source appropriate product collections
• Manage supplier relationships and source new vendors to add value to the portfolio
• Investigate and propose new product opportunities to optimize sales
• Deliver Gross Profit and intake margin targets
• Collaborate with the Merchandising Team to manage in-season trading issues
• Work with the Marketing function to ensure product ranges are effectively promoted

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Junior Buyer
• Proven success delivering commercial collections and achieving budgeted margins
• Previous line management experience
• Existing strong supplier relationships
• Ability to drive the brand forward
