Buyer IV - Procurement Capital Construction

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate commodity group teams
• Conduct research for contract negotiations
• Analyze and develop improvements in bid invitations and specifications
• Evaluate technical materials for source and product identification
• Develop resource files for bidder pre-qualification
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and SOX controls

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in business administration, finance, or a related field
• Thorough technical experience in large-scale procurement of architectural, engineering, and construction services
• Deep knowledge of modern procurement policies, procedures, and market trends
• Strong ability to evaluate and develop improvements in procurement practices
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to maintain effective relations with vendors, suppliers, and colleagues
