Buyer II

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement execution for assigned goods, commodities, and services in accordance with quality, delivery, and pricing standards.
• Execute tactical buying decisions, including order placement, rescheduling, cancellations, and resolving non-conforming material or invoice queries.
• Minimize inventory levels while ensuring adequate material availability to meet production plans.
• Implement corrective actions and escalations to prevent impacts on the production schedule.
• Manage procurement automation processes, ensuring data integrity and optimizing system efficiency.
• Adhere to Approved Vendor List (AVL) guidelines and customer contract requirements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of related procurement or purchasing experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
