Buyer I

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement execution of assigned goods, commodities, and services in accordance with quality, delivery, and pricing expectations.
• Execute tactical buying decisions, including order placement, rescheduling, cancellations, and resolving non-conforming material or invoice queries.
• Minimize inventory levels while ensuring adequate material availability to meet production plans.
• Collaborate on procurement automation processes, including troubleshooting and ensuring data integrity within automation systems.
• Initiate corrective actions and escalations to prevent impacts on the production schedule.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace or MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 1+ years of related procurement or purchasing experience.
