Responsibilities

• Source and procure tubular steel products for pipe spooling
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers and develop new supply sources
• Negotiate lower costs with vendors and pursue continuous cost reductions
• Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers
• Approve purchase orders and invoices based on established approval levels
• Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to company policies and procedures
• Monitor market forces to inform negotiations and future purchasing decisions
• Work with vendors to maintain proper inventory levels, quality, and delivery

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in procurement or a related field
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of contracts and materials
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
