Responsibilities

• Execute medium to high-volume procurement actions, including the issuance and administration of Purchase Orders (POs) and Change Orders (COs)
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with FAR/DFARS, Buy American Act, and DPAS requirements
• Perform price analysis, source justification, and vendor responsibility determinations
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle, from reviewing requisitions to expediting deliveries and closing out files
• Support sourcing activities through RFQs, bid evaluations, and price negotiations
• Maintain organized, audit-ready procurement files to support CPSR compliance
• Partner with Project Managers and Subcontract Administrators to meet project schedules and deadlines

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing
• Proven experience in a mid-to-high-volume PO environment
• Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations
• Experience issuing and administering Purchase Orders and Change Orders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Strong reading comprehension and ability to interpret contract documents

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD or federal prime contracts
• Prior experience in construction or environmental contracting
• Familiarity with SBA 8(a), UCC, or USACE/NAVFAC-type contracting
• Knowledge of professional services agreements and service procurements
• NCMA, ISM, or NIGP certification
• A relevant degree
