Responsibilities

• Manage operational purchasing tasks, including converting purchase requests into purchase orders (POs) and requests for quotation (RFQs)
• Perform daily supplier management and investigate/develop relationships with new vendors
• Follow up on and report shipping data and maintain detailed procurement records
• Act as the primary point of contact for purchasing-related issues and resolve order discrepancies efficiently
• Collaborate with the material planning team to identify cost-effective and customer-oriented procurement solutions
• Manage various indirect purchases and participate in procurement development projects

Requirements

• Technical or commercial education, or relevant experience in a logistics environment
• Fluency in both English and Finnish (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong ability to exercise independent judgment and make quick, thoughtful decisions
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong relationship-building skills
• Proactive mindset with the ability to handle ad hoc tasks independently
