About the role

Responsibilities

  • Procure materials and equipment by utilizing MRP-II and business planning software to forecast requirements and obtain optimal pricing.
  • Create and review material requisitions and purchase orders to support plant operations and meet inventory goals.
  • Manage purchase price variance (PPV) by analyzing part price changes, surcharges, and tariffs to minimize negative impacts.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships through regular communication, scorecards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Resolve material quality defects by facilitating contact with suppliers and tracking DMR reports.
  • Maintain accurate MRP system parameters, including lead times, minimum/maximum inventory settings, and MOQs.
  • Coordinate freight and transportation for critical materials while adhering to budget guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-5 years of experience in materials management, procurement, or related supply chain fields.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Electronics procurement.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP accreditation.
