Buyer Direct Materials

Responsibilities

• Execute commercial strategies for bulk raw materials (PVC, PE) to optimize price, timing, and results
• Translate market insights into concrete procurement actions and optimize call-offs, volumes, and timing
• Implement cross-plant optimization structures to ensure consistent strategy application across production locations
• Lead procurement improvement projects and drive organizational change management
• Monitor raw material markets and identify opportunities for spot purchases or contract adjustments
• Report on procurement performance and value creation to the management team

Requirements

• HBO/WO working and thinking level
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or a commercial role
• Strong commercial insight and ability to translate market trends into action
• Proven ability to drive change and complete complex projects
• Strong stakeholder management skills to coordinate between Group, plants, and operations
