Buyer Direct

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the procurement of direct materials, components, and equipment to support manufacturing production needs.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and conduct regular quarterly reviews.
• Place orders for raw materials and purchased parts based on production requirements and MRP output.
• Track shipments, manage order confirmations, and handle discrepancies or claims.
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstock and minimize the risk of obsolescence.
• Review requisitions, manage purchase order generation, and approve invoices for payment.
• Track KPIs and maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and metrics.
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel and freight forwarders to ensure timely material receipt.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a similar engineering field.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the electronics manufacturing industry.
• Advanced English fluency.
• Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage complex variables in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail regarding data entry and documentation.
