Buyer (Composite)

Responsibilities

• Lead key outsourcing projects for CFRP parts and manage additive manufacturing items.
• Execute end-to-end purchasing activities, including conducting RFQs, analyzing offers, and negotiating prices and commercial terms.
• Scout new suppliers to improve technology and efficiency, and support supplier audits.
• Monitor supplier performance (QCD) and conduct yearly reviews to define improvement plans.
• Issue purchase orders ensuring adherence to delivery schedules, quality requirements, and cost targets.
• Maintain accurate reporting and KPIs for assigned commodities and collaborate with production planning to define priorities.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Economics.
• Previous composite purchasing experience in Motorsport, Aerospace, or Automotive industries.
• Technical knowledge of CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer) items and composite components.
• Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in English and MS Office, specifically Excel.
• Resilience, attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
