Buyer - Avionics Electronics & Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Manage a critical product and supplier portfolio within the Avionics Electronics & Manufacturing commodity
• Lead procurement activities including sourcing, day-to-day supplier relations, and business reviews
• Coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) and development follow-up within multi-functional teams
• Drive cost reduction projects and implement cost optimization programs
• Lead Requests For Proposal (RFP) and Calls For Tender processes
• Negotiate multi-year contracts and amendments in compliance with company standards
• Proactively manage supplier risks related to finance, strategy, monopoly, and obsolescence

Requirements

• 5-year degree in Engineering or Business School
• Proven experience in Supplier Relationship Management and procurement processes
• Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and management
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with internal and external partners
• Proficiency in MS Office / Google Suite and basic SAP skills
• Negotiation-level English and a working knowledge of French
