About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support relationships with the global supplier panel and manage specific supplier relations through negotiations and performance monitoring.
  • Monitor daily supplier performance regarding Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Technology (QCDT) objectives.
  • Launch tenders and lead negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal terms.
  • Consolidate commodity needs and contribute to the development of procurement strategies and panels.
  • Coordinate projects with various stakeholders, including operations, project management, and supply chain teams.
  • Support the Project Sourcing Manager (PrSM) in managing project committees and change requests.
  • Report on claims and prepare weekly performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with the Alstom code of ethics and procurement processes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business or Engineering.
  • 2 to 5 years of professional experience in an industrial environment.
  • Fluency in both French and English.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in an additional language to facilitate collaboration with international partners and clients.
