Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning, and PDO departments
• Process purchasing requisitions, change orders, and RFQs
• Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities
• Monitor cost of goods and negotiate for highest quality and best value
• Analyze material requirements to ensure uninterrupted production flow
• Participate in Supplier Business Reviews and manage new product launch procurement
• Execute MRO processes and manage Open Order Reports for Vendor On-Time Delivery
• Identify and manage relationships with existing and potential suppliers
• Interface with Accounts Payable to resolve invoicing discrepancies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent procurement experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of purchasing experience, preferably in a laboratory environment
• Proficiency in ERP system functionality and procure-to-pay processes
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle ERP
