About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the butchery department shelf stocking and maintenance
- Ensure product supply and availability
- Control product quality by respecting hygiene, safety, and quality rules
- Advise and provide product solutions to professional clients
- Participate in commercial actions including sales floor interaction and client appointments
- Collaborate with the fresh food team and sales force to develop turnover
- Participate in collective actions and events within the METRO Halles
- Exchange information with buyers and local producers
Requirements
- Experience in butchery sales preferred (training provided if not)
- Strong organizational skills and rigor
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and drive for challenges
- Field-oriented mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital tools
- Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a cold environment
