Business Writer

Responsibilities

• Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documents, and step-by-step job aids
• Simplify complex workflows into clear, concise, and actionable instructions for end-users
• Design process maps to visually showcase operational workflows
• Develop training content assets, including PowerPoint presentations and assessments for new hires and upskilling
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to extract process knowledge and validate accuracy through effective probing
• Review existing documentation for consistency, relevance, and readability
• Maintain version control and ensure compliance with organizational audit and documentation standards
• Support the maintenance of a central repository for all operational documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience in content writing for SOPs, Job Aids, Facilitation Guides, and Participant Guides
• Experience collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in a corporate environment
• Strong ability to lead SME discussions and extract information to create content from scratch
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent writing and editing skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to simplify technical or domain-heavy content for clarity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the healthcare, BPO, or RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) industries
• Familiarity with collaborative documentation tools such as Confluence or SharePoint
