Business Value Engineer

Responsibilities

• Understand customer business needs and translate them into Vusion solutions
• Support sales teams throughout the full sales cycle from discovery to deal closure
• Design end-to-end solutions leveraging hardware, software, and services
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and workshops
• Validate solution feasibility, integration constraints, and deployment models
• Act as a trusted expert on the Vusion portfolio including ESL and data integrations
• Collaborate with R&D, Product, and Operations to address customer requirements
• Lead value workshops with business, finance, and operations stakeholders
• Produce executive-ready value reports, dashboards, and QBR content
• Standardize value frameworks, ROI models, and best practices

Requirements

• Experience in retail store operations (pricing, shelf management, stock)
• Knowledge of retail KPIs such as margin, productivity, and shrinkage
• Experience with digital transformation in retail
• Understanding of IoT basics, connected devices, and sensors
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms and SaaS architectures
• Proficiency in data flows and analytics
• Experience presenting to stakeholders ranging from store managers to CIOs
• Ability to design end-to-end technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in German
• Fluency in English
• Proficiency in additional languages
