About the role
Responsibilities
- Support First Line of Defense (FLoD) efforts to identify risk and establish an effective control framework within the Capital Management unit.
- Facilitate CCAR and internal quarterly stress testing execution in compliance with regulatory expectations and internal controls.
- Assist in the development, coordination, and review of the Annual Capital Plan.
- Support the development and management of the FLoD program, including performing periodic Risk and Controls Self-Assessments (RCSA).
- Maintain an inventory of regulatory obligations and perform periodic regulation gap assessments.
- Assist with inquiries and requests from Internal Audit, Business Risk Management (BRM), and regulators.
- Collaborate with the Data Governance Group to ensure compliance with data governance standards (BCBS 239).
- Assist in the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with laws and internal standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or MBA in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in financial services.
- Proven experience in compliance, assurance, audit, or risk management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, interpretative, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge of regulatory capital requirements.
- Experience with program or project management within a financial services environment.
