Business Unit Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5–7 Account Managers
• Own strategy and execution for large, complex customer accounts
• Manage RFQs, pricing strategy, and tailored logistics solutions
• Partner with Sales to transition new business into long-term accounts
• Serve as the primary escalation point for customer communication
• Build and execute strategies to increase revenue and retention
• Track and exceed KPIs, benchmarks, and financial targets
• Collaborate with executive leadership on growth initiatives

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in freight brokerage or logistics
• Leadership experience or readiness for people management
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Ability to learn TMS and CRM platforms quickly
• High School diploma or GED required

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, or related field
