Business Unit Leader

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for a portfolio of large, complex, and high-profile projects
• Support Project Executives throughout all phases of work from pursuit through closeout
• Ensure execution strategies, staffing plans, and logistics plans are established and executed
• Maintain full P&L responsibility for all assigned projects
• Oversee project forecasting, margin performance, and cash flow
• Lead, mentor, and develop Project Executives
• Ensure effective utilization of Project Controls including Scheduling, BIM/VDC, and Procurement
• Champion the company’s safety culture and quality standards
• Serve as a senior escalation point for key customers and manage client relationships
• Lead portfolio-level risk identification and mitigation efforts

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in industrial or large commercial construction
• Proven leadership of large-scale projects and multi-project portfolios
• Demonstrated success with full P&L accountability
• Strong knowledge of project controls, contracts, and risk management
• Proficiency in construction management and financial reporting software
• SPMP, PMP, CCM, or equivalent certification
• OSHA 30, First Aid / CPR certifications
