Business Unit Controller (Markets and Product Control), VP

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end controllership oversight for Markets activities, ensuring the integrity of business unit financial results.
• Ensure accurate and compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Partner with Markets leadership on new initiatives, product launches, and strategic transactions, specifically regarding FX trading and securities lending.
• Maintain a robust internal control environment and oversee remediation of audit findings.
• Lead controllership transformation initiatives and partner with Global Finance Center activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop controllership teams while driving succession planning and performance management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10-15 years of progressive experience in Controllership or Finance within a regulated financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial controls.
• Experience supporting Markets activity and accounting for Markets products, such as FX trading and derivative structures.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders and global stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
