Business Unit Controller

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial reporting process and month-end close to meet all reporting deadlines
• Support the annual budget, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and variance analysis
• Coordinate BU Monthly Management Reports (MMR) to provide real-time information to the management team
• Analyze and interpret operating and financial results to identify trends and recommend improvements
• Provide business partnering services to improve financial processes and implement best practices
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Evaluate capital investments to maximize growth, productivity, and cash flow
• Oversee treasury functions including payments, collections, and cash flow forecasting
• Support strategic initiatives such as new repair capabilities and large customer contracts
• Develop talent through goal setting, performance reviews, and career development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 10+ years of professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, manufacturing, or plant controllership
• 1-3 years of experience working with ERP systems (IFS preferred)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree
• CPA or similar professional certification
• Experience managing geographically dispersed staff
