Business Systems Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and evaluate internal information systems supporting logistics and transportation activities
• Develop and maintain policies for business systems, data processing, and system security
• Coordinate IT projects including integration, deployment, and upgrades of logistics systems
• Manage TMS, dispatch platforms, fleet telematics, and internal business applications
• Supervise internal IT staff and manage IT budgets
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and security while managing IT incidents
• Align business systems with operational and organizational requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Engineering
• Five years of progressive experience in IT operations or business systems management
• Expertise in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) such as McLeod, TMW, or Oracle
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like Manhattan Associates or SAP EWM
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Excel
• Deep understanding of logistics operations, freight forwarding, and distribution
• Experience with business process mapping and workflow optimization
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project management methodologies
