Business Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead architect for the corporate data ecosystem, bridging business functions with software through seamless integrations and automations.
• Design, develop, and maintain business systems integrations across core enterprise applications like NetSuite, Workday, and Salesforce.
• Build and support integrations using Workato to connect back-end finance and HR systems.
• Partner with Finance, People Ops, and Revenue Ops to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize business workflows related to Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report.
• Develop and troubleshoot reporting and data workflows using Tableau, Power BI, and custom scripting.
• Perform root cause analysis on data issues, system failures, and integration errors.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in business systems, systems engineering, or enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Workato integration development.
• Deep expertise in Salesforce and NetSuite, including Python and Java scripting.
• Strong understanding of business workflows such as Order to Cash and Procure to Pay.
• Experience supporting reporting and analytics solutions using Tableau or Power BI.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Proven experience in fast-paced startup or IPO-ready environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Workato, Workday, or NetSuite.
• Experience in Finance Systems, Revenue Operations, or Supply Chain.
• Experience establishing integration standards, technical documentation, and system governance.
• Experience with scalable automation frameworks and enterprise data workflows.
