Business Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain mission-critical integrations between core enterprise systems including Oracle NetSuite (ERP), Workday (HRIS), and Pigment (FP&A)
• Develop and manage data pipelines and API-led architectures to ensure real-time synchronization across the business stack
• Partner with Finance and People Operations to automate complex workflows and eliminate manual data entry
• Lead the selection, implementation, and management of iPaaS tools such as Workato or Tray.io
• Define and document enterprise data standards and integration protocols to ensure a consistent source of truth
• Identify and resolve complex system bottlenecks to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting
• Serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise architecture and mentor junior IT and systems staff

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in business systems engineering, enterprise architecture, or a related integration-heavy role
• Deep technical expertise with Oracle NetSuite and Workday APIs
• Hands-on experience with multi-dimensional planning tools like Pigment, Anaplan, or Adaptive Insights
• Proficiency in major iPaaS platforms (e.g., Workato, Tray.io, Boomi)
• Advanced scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or SQL for custom integration logic
• Strong understanding of financial concepts (GL, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash) and HR lifecycles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a high-growth startup environment preparing for public company readiness (SOX compliance)
• Familiarity with Salesforce (CRM) integrations and the lead-to-revenue ecosystem
• Advanced certifications in NetSuite (SuiteCloud Developer) or Workday (Integration Consultant)
• Experience with data warehousing and BI tools such as Snowflake, Tableau, or Looker
