Business Systems Analyst (IBM Maximo Expert)

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements related to asset management, maintenance, procurement, and operations
• Translate needs into functional specifications aligned with business objectives
• Advise stakeholders on EAM best practices and optimal use of native Maximo features
• Analyze existing processes and recommend optimizations based on data and operational efficiency
• Evaluate functional impacts of solution evolutions and proposed changes
• Produce and maintain key documentation including processes, requirements, use cases, and test scenarios
• Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure deliverable quality
• Participate in the design, evolution, maintenance, and lifecycle of the IBM Maximo MAS solution
• Facilitate workshops, manage change, and provide training and knowledge transfer to users
• Support data consistency and act as a point of contact for vendors

Requirements

• Confirmed experience with IBM Maximo (V7.x / MAS 8.x / MAS 9.0)
• Solid understanding of Maximo modules: Asset Management, Work Management, Preventive Maintenance, and Purchasing
• Experience in asset-intensive environments (utilities, manufacturing, transport, recycling, etc.)
• At least 5 years of experience as a business analyst, systems analyst, or functional analyst
• Bilingual in French and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Maximo 7.x to MAS migration or cohabitation
• Knowledge of Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) and REST APIs
• Proficiency in SQL and Power BI
• Knowledge of BIRT reporting tools
• IBM Maximo / MAS certification(s)
