Business Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

• Partner with ministry leaders and department heads to understand operational goals and challenges
• Lead requirements gathering through interviews, workshops, and process reviews
• Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, process maps, and user stories
• Conduct systems and infrastructure analysis to evaluate application and data flow alignment
• Prepare leadership-facing presentations regarding software costs, capabilities, and ROI
• Collaborate with developers, administrators, and vendors to support solution design and testing
• Support user acceptance testing, training, and change adoption activities
• Maintain documentation for requirements, configuration decisions, and system changes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar cross-functional role
• Strong ability to document and communicate technical and business requirements
• Working knowledge of enterprise applications, integrations, and data flows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical executive stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based systems, specifically Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
