Business Solutions Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis, documentation, and validation of business requirements for international payment lifecycles.
• Translate complex business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external fintech partners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for payment-related projects, operational improvements, and SWIFT connectivity.
• Perform gap analysis, root cause assessments, and release readiness reviews for payment system enhancements.
• Support Agile processes by assisting scrum masters and project managers with planning, scoping, and impact analysis.
• Monitor post-implementation performance and assist in incident resolution.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience working within banks, fintechs, or other financial institutions.
• Hands-on experience with ISO 20022 standards and SWIFT payment flows (MT and MX formats).
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with databases.
• Experience building dashboards or reports using Power BI.
• Technical knowledge of APIs (REST/SOAP) and XML message structures.
• Experience working within Agile project methodologies using Jira and Confluence.
• Professional English proficiency (B2 level or higher, written and spoken).
• Strong background in business process mapping and system analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous participation in large-scale payment transformation projects.
• Educational background in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering.
• Deep understanding of Fedwire and general payment processing/reconciliation lifecycles.
