Business Solutions Architect: Finance Systems

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Product Manager and Delivery Lead for Axon’s Finance Technology ecosystem, including consolidation, revenue management, and close automation.
• Lead end-to-end implementation and modernization of Finance Systems, including requirements analysis, solution design, and technical roadmap development.
• Own the implementation of the Finance & Accounting Consolidation platform, managing business process design and financial data modeling.
• Drive technical delivery of RevStream upgrades to ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements.
• Translate complex accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
• Partner with Engineering, Data Engineering, and Enterprise Architecture to design scalable solutions and manage technical dependencies.
• Establish governance processes for finance master data, chart of accounts, and financial hierarchies.
• Define and monitor system KPIs including performance, scalability, and data integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Finance Systems, Enterprise Applications, or Product Management.
• Deep expertise in financial close, consolidation, revenue recognition, and statutory reporting.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale Finance Systems implementations (configuration, integrations, and data migrations).
• Experience with enterprise finance platforms such as OneStream, Oracle EPM, Workiva, BlackLine, or RevStream.
• Technical proficiency with D365 Finance & Operations, Snowflake, Power BI, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and relational data models.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Anaplan or Hyperion.
• Proven ability to operate independently on ambiguous, high-impact initiatives.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to present technical recommendations to senior leadership.
