About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with employers, industry associations, and economic development organizations
- Act as a workforce consultant to assess employer needs and recommend customized recruitment and training solutions
- Identify opportunities for apprenticeships, incumbent worker training, and sector partnerships
- Conduct strategic talent searches and workforce matching activities
- Analyze labor market data and workforce trends to prepare business intelligence summaries
- Collaborate with Rapid Response Teams to support employers impacted by layoffs or closures
- Maintain accurate records of employer interactions and outcomes in Salesforce and other workforce systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Workforce Development, or a related field
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in workforce development, recruiting, or business development
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
- Ability to travel throughout Franklin County and surrounding areas
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and workforce databases
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing strategic partnerships or workforce initiatives
- Experience with public-sector workforce programs
