Business Services Lead

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with employers, industry associations, and economic development organizations
• Act as a workforce consultant to assess employer needs and recommend customized recruitment and training solutions
• Identify opportunities for apprenticeships, incumbent worker training, and sector partnerships
• Conduct strategic talent searches and workforce matching activities
• Analyze labor market data and workforce trends to prepare business intelligence summaries
• Collaborate with Rapid Response Teams to support employers impacted by layoffs or closures
• Maintain accurate records of employer interactions and outcomes in Salesforce and other workforce systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Workforce Development, or a related field
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in workforce development, recruiting, or business development
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
• Ability to travel throughout Franklin County and surrounding areas
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and workforce databases

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing strategic partnerships or workforce initiatives
• Experience with public-sector workforce programs
