About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate financial transactions including P-cards, purchase orders, invoices, and travel expense reports
- Manage accounting operations such as journal entries, fund transfers, cost allocations, and cash deposits
- Perform monthly bank and Epic reconciliations for the Controller's office
- Facilitate the credentialing process for new and existing faculty in the Department of Dermatology
- Maintain the PAR grid to reflect current credentialing status and communicate documentation requirements to faculty
- Ensure compliance with departmental and university policies through transaction audits and internal controls
- Assist with budget checks, overdraft allocations, and vendor maintenance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience
- Three years of related experience in an academic or higher education setting within a finance or accounting area
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Jaggaer for goods, services, and contract applications
