About the role
Responsibilities
- Optimize employment opportunities and vocational rehabilitation services for customers
- Conduct employer outreach to identify transitional employment opportunities
- Develop transitional employment agreements and coordinate candidate screening
- Build and maintain relationships with employers to ensure service satisfaction
- Match customers to available jobs and prepare them for interviews
- Conduct work readiness sessions, including resume preparation and interviewing skills
- Coordinate with other job developers and organizations to expand employment access
- Maintain follow-up contact with employers for quality improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in social services, psychology, or related field
- Four years of direct customer service experience in clinical or social service environments
- Experience in employment placement programs
- Experience in fast-paced, performance-driven team environments
- Knowledge of laws and regulatory requirements related to program responsibilities
- Experience with publicly-funded programs (TANF experience preferred)
- Ability to assess needs and implement reasonable accommodations
- Proficiency with electronic systems for job duties
